Gimmick Rallye

The theme of this year's Gimmick Rallye is centered around Chicago's mob history. The rallye will combine the corruption theme with local mob landmarks to create an exciting and fun afternoon's entertainment! Here's how it works:

Participants are assigned a 'career' - you could be in real estate, for example, or a restaurant owner. The checkpoint staff meanwhile will play the roles of government workers; aldermen, city inspectors and the like. At the start of the rallye you will be issued some fake money, which you have to use to bribe the 'officials' at the checkpoints. Just like the way government used to work around here... Wait - with a state governer in jail and a bunch more officials currently on trial for corruption, I guess our government still works this way

The 'officials' will ask you questions about Alfa trivia and local landmarks. The more questions you answer correctly, the smaller the bribes you have to pay to move along to the next checkpoint! The participant with the most money left over at the end of the rallye is the winner

So come along and join the fun. Just remember to bring your sunglasses and fedoras!
