Skyline Boat Cruise

The Skyline Cruise event takes place on the evening of Friday June 20th. Buses will take you from the convention hotel to Navy Pier on Lake Michigan, where we've chartered a private boat for a tour of Chicago's magnificent lake front and view the impressive architecture up close from the Chicago river. While on board, you'll enjoy a buffet of classic Chicago-style pizza and pasta. No need to bring money for drinks as there will be an open bar!

After a leisurely 2 hour cruise, the buses will shuttle you to the Hancock building for an ascent to the observation deck on the 94th floor. The night views of the city are stunning. Top off the evening with a complimentary slice of cheesecake and you'll be ready to ride the buses back to the hotel.

Important announcement for the Skyline Cruise on Lake Michigan: the cruise line has informed us that because we are providing an open bar, the cruise portion of this event is open only to participants over the age of 21. Therefore in order to accommodate families with children under 21, we are offering a family-friendly version of the event. Those taking this option will board the buses at the hotel and travel with us to Navy Pier. While the adults embark on their cruise, families will have 2 hours free to visit the many restaurants, rides, and other forms of entertainment available on the pier. Then at 9 pm, rejoin the rest of the party for the bus ride to the Hancock building to enjoy cheesecake and the wonderful night views of Chicago from the observation deck on the 94th floor.

The event fee for the family-friendly option is $30. If you have already purchased Skyline Cruise tickets for under-21s, please contact us for a full refund. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change of plan.

Child Care for Skyline Cruise and Banquet: fancy an evening without the kids? We will be providing child care at the hotel on Friday and Saturday evenings, leaving you free to attend the Skyline Cruise and the Banquet. We now have the price finalized at $35.00 per child for each night. This will include care by licensed professionals and dinner for your child. In addition, we are planning live entertainment for the kids during the Banquet to make it a fun evening for everyone.
