Fall Tour 2009

Our Fall Tour date is coming up fast. The route will be based on the Illinois River Valley drive that we have used regularly over the last few years. Those who have driven this route will remember that it provides a great combination of beautiful scenery and fantastic underutilized twisty roads. This year’s tour will include a lunch stop where the drivers can relax, hang out and talk cars as well as enjoy a good meal.
Paul Sorci has kindly agreed to lead the tour. Paul did a great job organizing our wonderful picnic and concours, and this promises to be another not-to-be-missed event. We will meet at 9:00 am in the Channahon State Park parking lot for the start of the tour. To reach the lot, take I-55 south to State Route 6; head southwest through the town of Channahon and turn left on Tryon Street, then take a right on Story Street, which takes you directly into the lot.
